Spring Cleaning
As the days become longer and warmer, it is the perfect time for a spring cleaning. The perfect spring cleaning is all encompassing: around your entire house and from the floor to the ceiling. It is also beneficial to get rid of old items that you might be hoarding. Here are some tips we have for your spring cleaning!
1. Clean Out Your Junk Drawers
Unwanted items can build up, and this is the perfect time to get rid of them.
2. Get Rid of Any Items That No Longer Bring You Joy
As Marie Kondo once said: "Discard of everything that does not spark joy." Things that don't make the owner happy don't need to be kept, which will definitely help when tidying up.
3. Dust the Fans
Over time, dust accumulates on fan blades and can be spread into the air when the fan is turned on.
4. Wipe Down Your Cell Phone and Other Electronics
Screens are some of the dirtiest surfaces that we touch on a daily basis. Electronic screens can be cleaned using a microfiber cloth, or isopropyl alcohol if you have a screen protector on.
5. Clean the Refrigerator and Freezer
Empty out the fridge and clean all of the surfaces. By removing everything, you can throw out old food and then reorganize the remaining food. Afterwards, repeat with the freezer.
6. Make a List or a Schedule of Everything That Needs Cleaning
This will keep you on track and make sure you hit all of the spots that need some TLC!
